Turnovers (pastry…turned over) filled with meat and vegtables.

Deep fried chick peas.
6. Fish and Chips, England
Well, it’s battered fish and chips isn’t it?
7. Gulab jamun, India
A cheese dessert of sorts.
8. Kelewele, Ghana
Plantains, but fried of course.
9. Kleina, Iceland
Well, it’s just a fried pastry – but it tastes so damn good.
10. Kofta, Greece
Fried meat, rice and a bit of veg on the side.
11. Pajeon, Korea
It’s a pancake, but Korean style.
12. Pirozhki, Russia
Literally translatng to “small pie”, this is indeed a small pie. It’s a fried bun with a variatons of the filling.
13. Pommes Frites, Belgium
Chips (french fries), basically. But really fucking good.

Deep fried mashed potatoes.
15. Poutine, Canada
Chips, gravy and cheese.
16. Schnitzel, Germany
Fried Pork and potatoes.

Beef and egg fried rice. Yummy.
