We’ve all seen thousands of photos of New York but perhaps none like these taken by the uber talented Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Vincent Laforet. They were taken at night (obviously) and shot at 7,500 feet above sea level. The height was important and perhaps why the photos look so unique. He needed a special permit and literally “hung” out of the helicopter taking them. This is only a tiny selection of the photos he took so for the full selection and to see his other incredible work head over here.
