RTÉ bloopers are the best kind, hands down. Seeing the national broadcasting station make similar mistakes to us mere mortals never fails to make the nation laugh.
Their latest hilarious accident happened live last night when newsreader Sharon Ní Bheoláin had the new Washington Correspondent on the screen. So far, so good… Except a technical glitch suddenly revealed he clearly wasn’t anywhere near the Whitehouse in DC.
First, the live screen behind the correspondent cut out
And then the RTÉ’s favourite movies suddenly popped up on iMovies
Seven Psychopaths? Dunkirk? Wow. Who knew.
Obviously whoever was controlling the background screen had been having a good movie binge over the weekend…
