Wine lovers, rejoice! Aldi has our backs.
The global supermarket launched a new organic line of products this week, including *gasp* organic wine.
Not only that, they all come in at less than €10. Now available in 129 stores, you can choose from a rich red for €9.99, a crisp chardonnay for €7.99 or a limited edition purple-red wine for €9.99.
And seeing as they’re all sporting a virtuous “organic” label, the good people of Ireland are praying the wine won’t cause a hangover.
Sure if it’s organic it must be good for us, right?
While the science behind hangovers is a subject to debate, one thing organic wine generally offers is a lower amount of sulphates. Sulphates are often linked to hangovers, so this could be the answer to our Saturday night prayers!
For less than a tenner a pop, it’s worth a try.
