Bottles of still water sold from SPAR and Londis are being recalled.
This comes after a fear for safety due to the presence of arsenic above normal levels.
Customers are advised not to drink the 750ml bottles from SPAR and the one litre bottles from Londis.
The chemical was detected above the prescribed legal limit. The Food Safety Authority of Ireland detected the chemical was above the legal limit but said that ‘consumption of the product does not cause any immediate or on-going risk’.
