A Pedestrian Has Died After Being Hit By A Car In Roscommon This Afternoon

A pedestrian died after being knocked down by a car in Roscommon this afternoon.

The man was struck by the vehicle on the N5 outside Frenchpark around 5.45pm today.

According the Newstalk.com, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
