If you’re working in the public sector, we may have some good news for you.
300,000 public sector workers could be line for a six per cent rise in pay over the next three years.
According to The Irish Times, Public Service Pay Commission is about to recommend the increase – which would be rolled out as a two per cent rise over a three year period.
A special incentive scheme to attract employees to sectors that are currently having trouble employing and retaining staff is also said to be under consideration.
