Ballinasloe Horse Fair is one of Europe’s oldest and largest Horse Fairs, dating back to the 18th century.

In recent years there had been talk of police shutting it down after trouble at the event but it was in full swing this last week.

Days off are all about getting out with my camera. Damn the housework and shopping, I’ll avoid everything to take pictures and spend time exploring with Lyra.
