McDonalds has a bad rep for being the devil of all sins when it comes to unhealthy fast food, although it has tried to change things up with the introduction of fruit snack bags and low cal wraps.
What about everyone’s fave though? We’re talking about the holy grail that is McNuggets.
One Youtuber, My Virgin Kitchen, went on a quest to see if the McNuggets were actually made up of only chicken breast, seasoning and batter, which is what McDonalds claims.
“I was expecting it to be a bit more complex, but the actual structure for how the nuggets are made is very simple, and the stations in the factory replicate that”, Barry said.
The chicken breasts are first minced into a pulp
Shaped into cute lil nuggets
Coated in batter in their masses
And flash freezed before being deep fat fried in store
And if you though they were all one shape – think again…
There’s four shapes: the bell, the bow-tie, the ball and the boot.
