As Ireland goes up against Italy tonight, the fans seem to be a little bit over-excited – leading to the damage of one Lille resident’s car.
It seems that during a bout of rowdy celebrations one fan climbed on top on a local’s vehicle and left a hefty dent behind.
Rather than walking away from the car, the Irish fans nearby ended up sliding donations for the damage through the door before they managed to fix the dent entirely themselves.
The lengths we’ll go to to preserve our golden reputation…
