The first trailer for Marvel’s The Defenders has just dropped and it looks positively action packed.
The series is a crossover event between several Marvel Comic characters who’ve had their own shows so far on Netflix: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and (sigh) Iron Fist.
The teaser opens with a battered Jessica Jones being in police custody, only for her lawyer to turn out to be Matthew Murdoch (aka Daredevil). From here, all our heroes gradually start to make each other’s acquaintances as a new evil rises in New York, led by none other than Sigourney Weaver herself.
Team-ups ensue.
The Defenders hits Netflix on August 18.
