The second trailer for Assassin’s Creed has just dropped and we’re really don’t know what to make of it.
The story follows Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender), a death row innate who wakes up in a high-tech facility after being supposedly executed. There he’s is hooked up to the Animus, a machine which allows him to experience the memories of his assassin ancestor, a killer who lived during the Spanish Inquisition…
Video games stories never seem to work in film adaptations, but with a stellar cast including Fassbender, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons, as well as some spectacular action, this could be a winner.
