With non-essential retail outlets to remain closed for a further two weeks minimum, people have been turning to online shopping as an alternative – meaning that the number of daily packages being delivered has increased by over 130 per cent.
Already warning customers of potential delays, An Post has since released their list of Christmas postal deadlines as a guide to help the public make sure all of their gifts arrive in time for the big day.
