Bray native Laura Whitmore has reportedly been named to take over Holly Willoughby’s spot on Celebrity Juice who announced that she will be leaving the team after 12 years.

According to reports, it’s believed that Love Island host Laura Whitmore will be the next big name to join the Celebrity Juice panel – joining the team as Holly Willoughby’s replacement who confirmed that she would be leaving after 23 series and over a decade working as team captain on the show.

Already familiar with the setup, Laura has been a guest on the show on more than one occasion – which combined with her TV and radio hosting experience, makes her the perfect candidate for the role.

A source told The Mirror that the presenter was able to negotiate a six-figure deal that, if accurate, will make her one of the highest-paid women in TV.

‘Laura’s high profile presenting gigs including Love Island have allowed her to demand six-figure fees for new TV commitments. She is well-loved by TV bosses and audiences alike.’

A British TV comedy panel game on ITV2, the programme is written and presented by Keith Lemon. Originally created to test which team knew the most about that week’s tabloid news stories, the show has slowly transitioned to focus more on the comedic element.
