Which would you choose; beans or hoops?
Heinz is putting a very divisive question to the public – whether you prefer beans or hoops on your toast.
And it’s proving to be quite a difficult choice… so much so that now they’re trying to make ‘Boopz’ a thing.
What the heck are ‘Boopz’ I hear you ask?
Well, in case you couldn’t guess, ‘Boopz’ are a mash-up between beans and hoops. A merging of two of the brand’s most iconic ‘on toast’ products, a can of ‘Boopz’ would mean you’d never have to choose between the two again.
The idea came about after staff had been heard debating the perfect toast topper. Unable to come to a definite decision, they decided there was only one way to resolve things and mix the two.

Apparently the office taste test went down so well that Heinz is even willing to make ‘Boopz’ an official thing if that’s what the people want. Posting a poll on their Facebook page, the final decision rests with you so make sure your voice is heard.
Emily O’Kane, marketing manager at Heinz Ireland, had this to say:
“Having tried, and loved, the delicious concoction myself – it seemed only fair to see if the rest of Ireland agreed with my taste buds.”
While I can see how the idea came about, I’m not quite convinced that ‘Boopz’ will make it into a full Irish just yet.
