A man in his twenties was killed in a single vehicle collision in Co. Mayo this morning.
The incident took place at Churchfield, Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo at approximately 4am.
The driver of the car and a female passenger were rushed to Mayo University Hospital with serious injuries while the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remains closed with diversions in place while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators attend the scene.
