A certain batch of Quorn Cocktail Sausages has been taken off shelves due to undeclared traces of milk and barley found in the product.
According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI):
”Quorn Foods is recalling a batch of its cocktail sausages. Due to a labelling error, milk and barley (gluten) are undeclared on the implicated batch. This may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk and/or barley (gluten) or their constituents. ”

The product itself is:
- Quorn Cocktail Sausages
- ‘Use-by’ date of June 7 2017
- Pack size: 180g
Those with allergies to gluten and dairy should avoid consuming these products – but for those without such intolerances, there is no cause for concern.
