Gardaí in Waterford are investigating a suspicious death in the city.
The body of a man was discovered at a Wellington Street apartment at approximately 9.20am this morning.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the State Pathologist has been notified.
The scene is currently being preserved pending a Garda Technical Examination.
