An Irish woman tragically drowned yesterday while holidaying in Lanzarote.
The woman, in her 40s, was from Waterford but had been living in London.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed to Independent.ie that they are aware of the case and are providing consular assistance to her family.
