Gardai and Aviation Authorities are investigating after a man in his 80s died in a light aircraft crash yesterday.
The man was flying the plane alone when it crashed at Knocknagranagh, outside of Dungarvan in Waterford.
He was pronounced dead at the scene before his body was taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem.
Investigations are ongoing.
