Emergency services were called to reports of a man with a gun at the Family Courts in Dublin today.
There is a large Garda presence in the area at the moment and the courts have been evacuated as part of the major security incident.
The Luas Red Line is suspended with parts of Smithfield closed off as Gardaí deal with the ongoing situation.

At the request of Gardaí, there is currently no service between Blackhorse and the city centre or The Point.
A man has reportedly been arrested following the incident in which a woman is said to have been threatened.
